The Design for Change program provides relevant information, opportunities and support to emerging leaders to use their skills and profession to influence change in their local and global community.
The Design for Change program connects young Australians to issues of injustice and the significance of aid and development by giving them opportunity respond to live briefs that Oxfam presents as part of their university course. Whether it is a communication strategy for 3things, a design plan for a campaign about worker’s rights or a marketing strategy for a soon to be released campaign, the project enables students to develop their response to the brief and then deliver it to Oxfam at the end of the semester.
Check out our Design for Change video which captures some inspiring stories of designers that have gone through the program:
Design for Change is part of the 3things philosophy which emphasizes the significant role that young people can play in creating sustainable change by using their existing skills and interests.
