Warning: You'll probably have fun running these two events in Term 4...


So, you have lunch right? Lunch was definitely in my Top 5 favourite things about school. Wanna know how to make it better?  Gather to GROW is an event that you can run during Term4 which will guarantee that your lunchtime will continue being fun AND you'll be doing something to make a differnce to  a big issue the world is experiencing at the moment.

You and your friends will join tens of thousands of people around the world to raise money and awareness about why, in a world with enough food for everyone 1 in 7 people go to bed hungry.

What's involved?

All you need to do is get your friends, class, year level, or, your whole school and hold a Gather to GROW event - you  don’t need to be an expert – you just need to care. We'll give you everything you need to run a wicked event - which you can Download here.  The DIY kit has a “How to” guide,  posters, placemats and coasters, videos and heaps more. So talk to you friends  - and teachers if you need to - and get organising!

The newest 3things Action Guide will also give you some pointers and other ideas for Term 4.



Do you love fashion? so you wanna make a difference? Great, keep reading..! Oxfam Australia is excited to present 3things' Exchange for Change- a term long festival  that explores behind the seams of the complex fashion industry. Whether you're interested in ways to reduce, reuse, recycle their wardrobe, finding out more about the environmental impacts of clothing production, learning about fair wages and safe working conditions for the people who make our clothes.

What's involved?

3things have stitched together a DIY KIT to guide you on how to run your own clothes swap for those who are ready to evolve their fashion sense.

The DIY kit has all the information you need to know to host your own  swap as well as fundraising tips, tools and more information (some really great videos) about the fashion industry. If you choose to fundraise, all money will be donated to Oxfam's East Africa Appeal. Have fun with you r new funky threads and convincing your teachers to do it over a double period!
