Hollywood heartthrob Bradley Cooper is just the latest in a long line of impressive celebrities to take on The Green Carpet Challenge.

Cooper turned heads at this year’s Golden Globes when he decided to don an eco-friendly tux for the occasion. Designed by Tom Ford, the suit was made from wool certified by Oeko Tex – one of the world’s strictest environmental impact testing systems for textiles.

Matt Damon’s new movie Promised Land is about the contamination of 11 families’ water wells in the small town of Dimock, Pennsylvannia, from a controversial method of mining gas called fracking.

It's not just happening in the US though, fracking is headed straight for Australian soil.

Mama Shujaa wa Chakula, which translates to 'Female Food Hero', is a reality TV program that focuses on the actual reality of being a female food producer in a country affected by climate change, poverty and gender inequality.

The ten winners of the BackMeUp anti-cyberbullying competition have created a 30 second commercial at their film making workshop in Sydney. Two of the winners – Paige and Eloise from South Australia said “It is surreal the way we have got along with each other during this amazing journey no-matter what our experience of film and acting is or where we are from or how old we are we are all entirely supportive of everyone’s decisions, ideas and inputs.” Read the full story »

...there is a whole underground kid boxing industry in Thailand. Yeah that’s not kick boxing, KID boxing. The ‘sporting’ culture that incorporates the Thai traditions and rituals is important to Thai identity. Children and infants are exposed to rounds of kicking pulling and punching. Doctors are becoming worried about the long term and short term effects of head injuries that children are contracting weekend after weekend. Read the full story »
