Oxfam Australia is excited to present 3things' Exchange for Change- a month long festival  that explores behind the seams of the complex fashion industry. Whether you're interested in ways to reduce, reuse and recycle your wardrobe, giving your designs the sustainable edge, finding out more about the environmental impacts of clothing production, or fair wages and safe working conditions for the people who make our clothes, we've stitched together a festival for anyone ready to evolve their fashion sense.

Keen to get your hands on some new threads without putting a dent in your wallet or the environment? Get some friends together and host your own swap party! Check out our DIY booklet, which has all the info you need to know to host your own swap, as well as fundraising tips, tools and more info about the fashion industry. All money raised from swaps will be dontated to Oxfam's East Africa Appeal. With the government matching all donations dollar for dollar up until November 30, we're extending the dates that you can host your swap up until then too!

National Swap Day

Interested in getting rid of that jacket that never looked quite right on you? Experience swapping like never before at The Clothing Exchange's National Swap Day on October 17. Bring all of your loved but unwanted clothes and swap them for threads you'll actually wear! Hear from those in the know in the fashion industry as designers, advocates, academics, textile works and entrepreneurs share their knowledge and opinions from their experience in the industry.
